"Hi, I'm Kanin - pronounced like 'cannon.'

My name has a special story behind it. When my parents were dating, my dad used to send my mom quotes of the day. They came across an author with the last name Kanin, and they both loved it so much that they decided if they were ever blessed with a child, their name would be Kanin - regardless of gender. And here I am, the embodiment of that beautiful story.

I'm a singer with a big imagination and a passion for performing on grand stages. When I'm not belting out tunes, you can find me watching college football, rocking out at concerts, shopping at Sephora, eating ice cream, grabbing Starbucks and seeking out the best açaí bowl in town. I also enjoy fitting in some exercise and taking time to write music, as I tour with my band around the country.
